Powakaddy are now producing a conversion kit for the Freeway II
electric golf trolley.
The kit upgrades the electrics and includes a completely new handle (as fitted to the new Freeway Sport) to convert from the current and often unpopular 'push button
speed control' back to the more popular and reliable 'control knob' system.
We will be pleased to supply full details on request.

During the past few months I've had customers bring in batteries for testing, saying that although only a few months old they are failing before the end of a round.
On several occasions, and when taking the battery out of it's carry bag, the batterys were found to be quite old - and not the battery originally purchased by the customer.
This would indicate the customers battery had been mistakenly switched (or perhaps otherwise).
To safeguard against this, it is a good practice to indelibly mark the outside casing of your battery with your name or some other means of identification. Your trolley and other golf valuables should also be treated in the same way - its better to be safe than sorry.

What a finish to the Masters. Just shows what you can do if you hold your nerve and don't get flustered. I always feel the golf season gets going after the Masters so with this in mind hopefully we can all adopt this attitude and improve our handicaps during the coming months....(weather permitting !!!!)
During the year, I'll be continuing to bring you hints, tips and bits of news but don't forget our workshop is here if you need repairs or servicing.
Just call 07973 715853.
