Summer Golf

Finally the last week has provided some gorgeous weather to play golf in and from what i have seen the golf courses are in superb condition, what's needed now is some of that lovely rain stuff just to keep the courses in this condition as the ground is hardening and the grass is starting to show signs of wear.
A busy summer is ahead to in regards to sport with the World Cup already in full flow, the British Grand Prix near, Wimbledon, Cricket and Golf to same a few things going on, Not sure there'll be time to play :-)

Battery Testing

The last few weeks have seen a period of battery testing with mixed results. Fairly new batteries failing the test and older ones passing, So remember to look after your battery by following the instructions laid out in the paperwork provided with your battery.
Long hilly courses, wet conditions, a well loaded golf bag, a faulty charger and improper charging procedures can lead to a battery not lasting that long. Also to note that batteries are being made with less lead content than was previously done because of the cost of it which has also led to batteries lasting shorter than previous ones. The move to lithium is the way forward as they are proving to last 5 times longer and sometimes more, they weigh about a quarter of the weight, they require less charging time, they are more powerful and will prove to be more cost efficient.

We hope this helps and if you require any more information just drop us an email, call or pop in.

Golf News

Hi again all.

This weekend saw Michelle Wie win a long over due US Open around the same course as Martin Kaymer so well done to her.......A tough test of golf !!
Tiger Woods hopefully returning to the tour this week after being out of action so quite some time now so we look forward to it.

The British Open is on the horizon and with so many different winners these days it's hard to say who will win but should be an enjoyable week and a deserved champion anyway.
