Due to the weather conditions, many golf clubs are not allowing electric trolleys on the course, unless they are fitted with winter wheels or hedgehogs. Obviously you have to comply with this ruling.
However, it is wortwhile to bear in mind that these wheels often put adittional strain on the motor, battey and gearbox and may cause premature wear.
Although it's not a definite cure, keep you bag as light as possible and try to keep out of long wet grass and thick mud as much as possible.

Maintenance
During the past couple of weeks I've had in 2 trolleys with sudden clutch failure. In both cases the owner had been doing a bit of maintenance which included inadvertantly oiling the clutches.
Oil and clutches do not mix and will result in premature problems - so please get your oil can out by all means but leave those clutches alone.

BATTERY CARE
Look after your battery by charging and discharging it properly with the correct use and in doing so this will help prolong the life of your battery.
