At last, some better golfing weather.
It is now a good idea to have your battery and charger professioally checked and tested to avoid any possible future problems.

Due to the weather conditions, many golf clubs are not allowing electric trolleys on the course, unless they are fitted with winter wheels or hedgehogs. Obviously you have to comply with this ruling.
However, it is wortwhile to bear in mind that these wheels often put adittional strain on the motor, battey and gearbox and may cause premature wear.
Although it's not a definite cure, keep you bag as light as possible and try to keep out of long wet grass and thick mud as much as possible.

Wet, muddy conditions is the ideal recipe for clogged front wheels and housings. To avoid premature motor, gearbox or battery problems it's a good idea to regularly clean the mud away and make sure the front wheel is running freely.

Maintenance

During the past couple of weeks I've had in 2 trolleys with sudden clutch failure. In both cases the owner had been doing a bit of maintenance which included inadvertantly oiling the clutches.
Oil and clutches do not mix and will result in premature problems - so please get your oil can out by all means but leave those clutches alone.
